program

School "FILM INDUSTRY" Mobile Workshop

The School "Film Industry" Mobile Workshop consist of 2 hours of great information
specifically geared for school students. Students are fully involved throughout the workshop
which not only is informative but also a lot of fun.

Our well tailored workshop that balances education and entertainment is ideal for every level
of student and provides students the opportunity to experience (LIVE) a wide range of film industry knowledge.

The A.F.F.A is the only independent academy, which boasts exceptional training and
knowledge for the film industry. We only use professional performers currently working in
the film industry.

THE WORKSHOPS will inform and teach each student about:

The film industry
How to make a career in the film industry
The role of various film depts./directors/make up/ fx/sound/etc.
The role of male & female stunt performers, why they are used in movies?
The use of computers in movies & how scenes such as, "The Matrix" are put together.
How to do basic rolls on padded mats. "mats provided"
The use of safety equipment on a film set
The A.F.F.A will be running mobile film workshops around Australian schools and
conducting these workshops through out each state. WE COME TO YOU FULLY
EQUIPPED.

At the completion of the 2-hour workshop, each student receives an A.F.F.A "FILM
WORKSHOP CERTIFICATE".

THE PRINCIPLE INSTRUCTORS have over 18 years experience here and overseas in the:

Film / Television and Stage Industry.
All instructors are accredited and certified in the industry:
Level 4 Assessor and Trainer.
A.N.T.A, Australian National Training Authority.
M.E.A.A, Media Entertainment Arts Alliance.

SCHOOL "FILM INDUSTRY" MOBILE WORKSHOP

BREAK DOWN

* Intro viewing 30 min "behind the scences film industry video".
* The role of different film depts. make up, wardrobe, sound, etc.
* Stretch & warm up.
* Basic rolls. (mats are provided for safety)
* Combination of film acting & physical role play.
* Conduct & simulate a basic on set scenario using film equipment &
* Students to role play as various film depts.
* Questions & answers on the film industry.

THE WORKSHOPS have a limit of 35 students per class. This helps ensure each student
is properly informed and assessed. However we are flexible and can work with the school
to structure a program to suit your individual needs.

Pricing

$11 per student inc GST

Min 20 Students - Max 35 students

*Please Note: If on the day of classes there is less than 20 students the school
must pay the difference*
